The oil of joy is formulated from the oil Jesus used to anoint His own garments.

Psalm 45:7-8, You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your fellows.

 All Your garments are fragrant with myrrh, aloes, and cassia.

 His garments STILL have the same fragrance TODAY as JESUS sits on the right side of His Father in heaven.

How they make anointing oil during the time of Jesus.

Anointing and Blessing

  One may anoint anyone or anything at any time as long as it is for Christian Purposes.

    The authority given us for anointing and blessing is given  in The Bible.  John 1:11-13  "You Are a child of God!"

    To Bless or consecrate the oil, rendering it Holy.

  Oil is blessed before it is used. A good quality pure olive oil

(scented as in the early church)  should be used by Christians serving The Lord Jesus Christ. They should bless it and use it only for Holy Purposes.

         (a) Take an open container of oil.

      (b) Address The Heavenly Father as in prayer.

      (c) State the authority by The Lord Jesus Christ.

      (d) Consecrate or bless the oil (not the container) putting it apart for anointing of anyone, or thing, for anytime for Christian purposes.

      (e) Close the container in The name of Jesus Christ.

  Example, "Dear Heavenly Father by The power and authority of The Lord Jesus Christ, I bless this special oil of anointing for anyone, or anything, at any time for any Christian purpose, in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ, AMEN! 

  The oil is now consecrated permanently, and it is not necessary to do it again.

       When anointing,

              (a) Use a small amount, applying a dot, or making the sign of a cross on the person's forehead or on the object to be anointed.

                       (b) Call the person by name.

              (c) State the authority (The Lord Jesus Christ).

              (d) Say that you are using consecrated oil.

               Sealing and Blessing,

      Right after the anointing you and any Christians present may lay hands on the persons head or shoulders with one person praying for the persons needs or stating how The Blessing will operate on and through an object. Seal and confirm it pronouncing The Blessing in The Name of The Lord Jesus Christ.

  Note, let the prayer be suited to the situation. Consider the circumstances, you may be lead to fast before hand, be confessed up to date with The Lord, as He is using you as an instrument of His Power and anointing. Listen to The Holy Spirit, He will give you guidance and the right words to say. Be sure to thank Him and give Him all the glory, amen.

  Prayer should come from a place of faith by the person praying and the one being prayed for. Try to instill faith into the person that by their faith in The Lord healing, deliverance, and Blessing will happen! God still is THE miracle worker,nothing is impossible for Him.

   Remember, " you don't have any trouble, all you need is FAITH IN GOD! AMEN!
